If your iTunes library was originally created using iTunes 8 or earlier, the iTunes Media folder may be called "iTunes Music" instead. If your hard drive is nearly full after loading all your music and other media into iTunes, or if you just want to move all those music and media files to another hard drive on your system, here's a way to make the move while retaining all your playlists, ratings, and play history. Restoring Older Versions of Your iOs Devices Backup

Restoring backups of your  iPhone  takes just a few clicks, but  iTunes  often only shows your most recent backup as an option to restore from. If you ever want to restore your Older backups then you’ll need the assistance of Time Machine. My personal experience -  Launch finder in the Mountain Lion OS.  Hold down the option key on your keyboard and choose " Go " from the drop down options at the top within finder.  Choose the library from the drop down options.  Then drill down to application support - mobile sync - backup.  Backup is the folder you want to restore from time machine.  Therefore, with the backup folder open on your screen, choose time machine from the desktop bar on the top right of your operating systems screen.  This should launch with the backup folder displaying in time machine.  now choose a backup you want to restore to on your iOs device, whether is an iPhone, iPad, or whatever ways backed up.  R...
