Apps are appearing on IOS device when not installed

I found applications were being installed on devices that have the following setting "on" or enabled, even though they were being installed from another IOS device.

Go onto the IOS Device -

settings - iTunes & App Stores -

Then ensure under " Automatic Downloads ", the apps option is off.
